In the pace of the rapidly consumed days and moments, it seems impossible to keep the record of the ‘experiences’ and ‘reactions’. The memories are being dislocated and fused into the daily life images and narratives. Nonetheless, the world is being subject to many catastrophes and disasters and we do witness the current unbalanced and devastated state of the globe accompanied by waves of collective amnesia. An Epidemic of Amnesia intends to collect, disseminate, and show the perspectives and realities of diverse positions in multiple formats. In this respect, with this screening program, a selection of works renders different cases, approaches and realities with multifaceted cultural, political and social situations. An Epidemic of Amnesia consists of 4 chapters that present group of thought-provoking works according to their thematic and form-based links to each other.
